Botswana Mobile Safaris

Glamping under canvas would be my interpretation of a Mobile Safari! In Botswana we do it well. All levels of comfort can be provided for. The mobile safaris that we offer are affordable and authentic. All your basic needs are catered for and you never get the feeling of wanting anything more.

Nature is not a place to visit. It is home.

And this is certainly the ethos we strive for.
Don’t get me wrong… I love the luxury of a fixed lodge… but embarking on a journey through the Botswana Bush on a mobile safari brings you a much closer and personal feel to the incredible energy and feel good factor that nature brings.

Like food for the soul… well it is for me! I always sleep so well under canvas and return home energized.

Botswana Lodge Safaris

Having had my feet on the ground in the Okavango Delta for many years I have experienced, and in turn, I am able to give my personal advice and feedback on the majority of lodges on offer… and there are a lot. I recommend a small selection that have been personally tried and tested, and have the right balance of guest service and delectable food and wines. As well of course excellent guiding to highlight the nature and wildlife! It’s not all about the high teas and G&T’s!!

In all things of Nature, there is something of marvelous. – Aristotle

Favourite Itinerary – exploring the bush by mobile safari and ending at a luxury lodge (when I say luxury they don’t all burn a hole in the pocket).
Additional Highlights – Khwai Private Reserve Sky Beds, meerkats at Planet Baobab, the Boteti zebra and wildebeest migration.

Botswana Horse Safaris

I must be honest, horse safaris were the reason I was enticed to Botswana back in 2002. You can take a horseback safari into the Delta or into the magnificent Makgadikgadi Pans. For those that can’t stretch the budget that far, a simple day ride from Maun can also be arranged! Experienced riders only for this type of safari!

No hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle. – Winston Churchill

Highlights – cantering through the shallow waters of floodplains alongside herds of lechwe… or zebra… or giraffe.
